At its plenary session in October 2013, the Committee on World food Security (CFS) requested the High Level Panel of Experts (the science-policy interface of the CFS) to produce a Note on critical and/or emerging issues in the area of food security and nutrition.
A central element of the work will consist of collecting documented inputs by the scientific community and a wide range of knowledge networks and knowledge holders, through a public inquiry which will run until 15th March 2014. Replies are to be sent by e-mail at .
